The moisture content of fire retardant wood is an important factor affecting the quality of fire retardant wood, because dry wood is easy to absorb liquid fire retardant, into the fire retardant pool, the liquid fire retardant wood is absorbed by the fire retardant quality of wood directly affects the wood, and is absorbed by the oxygen index and the depth of the fire retardant wood is directly proportional. The more flame retardant liquid absorbed by the wood, the better the flame retardant performance, the higher the oxygen index, the deeper the depth of flame retardant.

However, many companies believe that, in any case, even if the wood is immersed in the flame retardant liquid, there is not much to worry about the high moisture content of the wood, waiting for the flame retardant treatment of the wood is not dry, and some companies are just seeing the solution of the flame retardant treatment of wet square wood. It is not known that the moisture content of wood will affect the quality of fire retardant, resulting in unstable wood fire retardant quality. Tests show that under the same fire-retardant conditions, wood with a moisture content of less than 15% increases the oxygen index by more than 5 and the fire-retardant depth by more than 3mm compared with wood with a moisture content of more than 40%.
